Monckton’s Mexican Missive #3

Monckton’s Mexican Missive #3. Anthony Watts offers more profound insights from the comical Lord Monckton. The UN’s Cancun climate conference is the beginning of a World Government, probably communist, eager to create vast un-answerable bureaucracies! Etc, etc, etc.

Wait, I thought that the crypto-communist climatologists that are conspiring to rule the world received a mortal setback in Copenhagen. Ooh, this wild speculation thing is tricky.

  1. BACKGROUND
Wikipedia can link you to the grand tour of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change here.

And to the COP16 2010 meeting in Cancun here.

The conference ‘outcome’ and its earlier framework version (“possible elements of the outcome”) are both linked to here.

    RUN AWAY

“The governing class in what was once proudly known as the Free World is silently & casually letting go of liberty, prosperity, and even democracy itself.”

“In all but name, the UN Convention (on Climate Change) Secretariat will become a world government…”

“There would be no such thing as free markets any more.”

“…the IPCC…assisting in the UN’s long-term aim…of extinguishing national sovereignty and establishing a world government.”

  2. I’ve always wondered. If Kyoto, Copenhagen and Cancun are the precursors of this fearsome world government – why on earth would anyone be in the least bit worried about their capacity to run a nything at all? Let alone transform life-as-we-know-it. The casual observer would be inclined to say in the classic Oz expression ….. couldn’t organise a booze-up in a brewery!

[Yes, I get a laugh out of how denialists simultaneously declare that the World Government conspiracy is an inch away from total control, and that everyone now sees that climate scientists are impotent frauds. That last bit does seem like garden-variety projection though. – Ben]
