The blogger “Scottish Sceptic” has concluded that “Google hates WUWT … and more than likely is actively trying to repress the site.”
Although famously opaque, it seems that the painful truth is that Google’s heartless search algorithms have figured out that Anthony’s website is pretty much the least useful place to look for information about “global warming”.

Hmmm… I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Google deliberately ‘manages’ search rankings for more than purely commercial reasons. But I suspect you are right – WUWT would not reasonably be near the top of sites one would want to find if looking for the serious science around AGW.
It does however turn up within the top 6 for the search “global warming blog truth”, and the top 4 for the search “global warming blog whole truth”.. And even more deliciously, it is number one for the search “most viewed global warming blog”.
Make of that what you will… :)

Hysterical! But, people *do* and *are* using WattsUpWithThat for Climate Science information. He is getting increasing coverage in the press too. That is fantastic because without both sides of the story being presented people cannot make informed choices. Hooray for the art of looking at both sides of a debate. Bravo Anthony!

Chris Smith is obviously intellectually challenged since he cannot see the dishonesty that is coming from Wattsuphisbutt. He cannot see that all Watts and his cabal of deniers have to offer is junk science, pseudo science and lies.

Actually I hold a BA in Sports Science from a North England Poly. Yes, that is right, a “Science” qualification. So I am a Scientist and that more than qualifies me to comment on a host of Scientific subjects from Climate Science to Cosmology to Water Divining to Evolution.

Ben, I go on how people express their scientific knowledge and attitude. Chris Smith, just because he has a degree in “science” does not make him a scientist. He shows that he has no respect for science nor scientists with what he posts here and elsewhere.

At first I chuckled at what seemed like an obvious parody argument but then I checked your posting history at WUWT and discovered you trying to push 9/11 truther theories there making you actually more crazy and conspiratorial than the norm there!
And as mentioned having some type of qualification with “science” in the title from some type of institution does not make you a scientist nor does it qualify you to comment on things outside your expertise.
I googled “sexiest person alive” and I couldn’t find myself on the front page, what’s up with that?
